Maul beat Vader in that one comic. Because Vader is stronger than ROTS Anakin, and Anakin can't survive a lightsaber through his stomach because he doesn't have the right machinery, Maul wins

I'm not sure. I wouldn't put it past Maul or Anakin to continue fighting after getting stabbed or after the loss of a limb.
