I just watched TPM with my sister last night, and holy shit, I forgot how ****ing awful that was. Before I had AotC and TPM on par, but now I officially have TPM below. I kind of need to rewatch Rogue One and even RotS to really make my list concrete in my view, but the list seems legit enough.

A New Hope shows its age more than the rest, its full of exposition even though show don't tell is the storytelling grade A standard, the acting is stiff aside from Ford, Cushing and Guinness, the action that is provided is nowhere near on par with the rest of the series. At least Phantom Menace had Duel of the Fates... Its definitely a product of its time and it gets my respect for starting the movement but thats not enough for me to let it slide by.

3/4 and 6/7 are probably interchangeable on my list. I think my 1 and 2 are extremely solid placements and it'll take something really good to upstage them, though.

I could see TLJ being anywhere from 3-5. If it's TPM/AotC-tier or below I'll be disappointed.

It might even bump TFA up for me — I'm kind of hoping that TFA will grow on me on its own, though.

I think the opinions of TFA will grow with TLJ.

It might. I'm definitely open to the possibility myself. Although I'm also open to it dragging TFA down if it turns out to be exceptionally bad, but I'm kind of feeling that it'll be on par with RotS.
