It depends on your interpretation of Legion's final feat in x-men legacy (before that showing, his best feats were strictly universal in scale). Legion erases himself supposedly re-creating the entire multiverse instantly, but the scene is ambiguous and could be simply interpreted as Legion erasing his influence from the multiverse. If we take that as a genuine multiversal feat, then sure.

ej had some pretty crazy feats. i wouldn't be shocked if he simply pulled the personalities out of legion. at the least, you'd think he could simply turn off his x-gene. that's a weakness all mutants have, regardless of how powerful they are. /shrug

Many omega mutants have ascended beyond their physical form. Bobby can exist as a pure consciousness and reform out of any system of water. Shadow King and Malice exist purely as psychic entities. Any completely elemental mutant has lost his/her organic structure along with its genes. And so on. Heck, Legion himself has had his body destroyed (by Iceman) but his mind survived and restored his body.

Joker's hold/control over reality is simply too much for Legion to contend with, imo.

I could see Joker transforming Legion into a parakeet and stuffing him inside a birdcage, like he did to the Spectre entity...

i don't know about that. maybe you're right about mutants who have completely transcended their physical bodies--maybe. cable has existed on the astral plane as nothing more than psi energy, but in his most powerful form he was shut down easily. i don't see any reason why the same wouldn't be true of legion or any mutant if they were in their physical form. certainly bobby could have his gene turned off were he in his human form. maybe even in his ice form, but who knows how comics would view that.

regardless, galan's right imo. ej simply has too much wackiness here for legion to deal with.
