Once and for all, can speedsters and energy manipulators beat Lanterns?

One of the most common arguments I heard on Comicvine about how to beat Green Lanterns or any Lanterns is that

A) They can be speed blitzed

Or

B) characters like Sentry, Genis Veil, or Quasar can beat them via energy drain

Are Lanterns suspect to getting speed blitzed or energy drained?

How is it that Hank Henshaw was able to drain Lantern energy?

And what about Monica Rambeu in the JLA/Avengers cross over?
