Gohan stated during his 1v1 fight with Goku that he was fighting at full power, which would imply he was in his Mystic/Ultimate state. But Goku comments "you're not gonna go Super Saiyan?", which implies that he was in base form, or that after entering the Mystic/Ultimate state he can still go Super Saiyan. It would also not make sense for Ultimate Gohan to only be ~ SS2 Goku, but then it would mean Base-Gohan ~ SS2 Goku. What are people's thoughts on how strong Gohan is, and what form he was in when fighting Goku?

Gohan is as strong the plot needs him to be.

Toppo = SSB KK Goku >> SSB Goku = Mystic Gohan.

SSB = Mystic Gohan = Android 17 = Krillin

I've always assumed the white aura is not actually something that they can see, so it is possible that other than the power jump you can't tell the difference between base and mystic. (in universe)
