What'd you guys think of Salazar (from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) overall as a villain? Good? Bad? Interesting? Boring?

Had great potential, but the writers and directors didn't know how to bring it out.

For instance, Salazar was shown to use to be a man of honor, and he seemed to care for his crew, yet he abandoned them at the end to save his ass.
