A normal human like Jesse, without any powers (and some dirty street fighting skills) utterly dominated Cassidy in a fight. Because Cassidy has always relied on his strength and speed, and never learnt how to use it properly.

Now, he faces a guy who has skills, speed and strength.

PLUS weaponry designed specifically to take out vamps.
