DC finally got the balls to show how powerful kryptonians can be. Call it fan service, I call it a clever move that fits well into those power feat hungry generation.

^ he's beaten a weaken eradicator and rebirth cyborg superman, which is impressive and I see team 1 winning here, especially given Blue Marvel partner is not Hyperion.

Team Supermen wins of course. They're both stronger than their Marvel counterparts. Depending on their mindset though it would somewhat challenging, team Marvel isn't weak by any means.

k, so neither of those things would indicate zod is taking this solo. so....not serious up above then? cool, just checking.

No. Zod took on the entire Suicide Squad, but they're metas. The most 'feat-y' thing he did was lobotomize himself to burn Waller's Knite bomb out, and tank Enchantress' spells.

He literally shattered half of Henshaw's body with one punch.

kinda cool, but like ds said, the squad ain't exactly all that. and it seems the new henshaw ain't up to snuff like the old one was. good feat, but no way does that justify him beating both glads and bm at the same time. not even close. dc wins though, mostly because of supes of course. /shrug

There have been even flashbacks to DoS with Henshaw, and in this arc he humiliated Mongul and had him kiss his hand, the same way he did when they first confronted .

It was pretty awesome when the shock of the reveal kept you from thinking about it too much. I sure wouldn't reuse that scene again, ever.

@phil: i knew about the blend of continuity (and characters, essentially) as regards superman himself, but it just doesn't quite feel right the way borg was portrayed in the above scene. /shrug
