The story was written by garth ennis in the marvel max imprint.
The story is about undead vikings invading new york city.

Certainly hope not. Thor was emasculated like never in the arc.

I hope so too.
But some people told me that it was canon.
Because the story did not contradict Thor's and Dr. Strange's history
another thing, Harald was also added to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z

The canonicity of Vikings is up in the air, as I do not believe there is anything that explicitly confirms if it's canon or non-canon... And because some MAX titles are canon and some are not, the series can't be ruled in or out that way either.

It is canon. Beautifully written series.

not sure why it wouldn't be, tbh. /shrug
