Haven't been really impressed by anything so far this year, but I will admit I have only seen a small handful of New Releases.

Get Out
The Big Sick
I Am Not Your Negro
Split
Colossal

tkitna
I've only seen Logan, GOTG2, and Wonder Woman and none of those qualify.

BackFire
Logan and Get Out were good. John Wick 2 was probably my favorite thus far, though.

Adam Grimes
Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2

carthage
Definitely adding Shotcaller to the list

Definitely one of the best dramas I've seen in a while, never thought I'd see Jaime Lannister work his way up from a grunt to gang leader.

-Pr-
Wonder Woman probably, though I'm a bit behind.

dynamix
Split

Khazra Reborn
Kong: Skull Island
Homecoming

Detroit goes to the top of the list for me. Astounding film. Proper intense drama.

Gotta put Logan and Dunkirk at the top in no order. Don't know which one is numero uno, but they are the top two. Guardians Vol. 2 is third.

-Pr-
Watched Logan recently. Good, but I still preferred Wonder Woman. Need to watch Get Out next.

Adam Grimes

Esau Cairn
Kong: Skull Island.

Just for the fun/wow factor.

carthage
I feel like A Ghost Story, My Friend Dahmer, Detroit, and It might make my list- but I'm gonna hesitate especially since a lot of great movies come out around Oct-December. Like last year we got front loaded with Arrival, Hell or Highwater, Nocturnal Animals- if they release stuff even remotely on par with those films it's going to be a good send off to the year. Hopefully, they don't give the shaft to those films come award season

Flyattractor
Kong Skull Isalnd was pretty darn good (way better then that Snore Feast Godzilla) but I wouldn't say it was Great by any means.

Wasn't perfect but it left me with a F-YEAH buzz that unfortunately I don't get with most movies these days.

Same here, but it was far from perfect, but compared to SnorZilla... It did give me a F*** YEAH!

SnoreZilla left me with a F*** That was boring Vibe.

Can't wait for next flick.

Zack M
Baby Driver.

digiosmosis
Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot has nailed it for this year. Even Homecoming was good featuring Tom Holland. Rober Downey Jr was exception in his role.

quanchi112
Thor Ragnarok

GOTG: Vol.2

Kong Skull Island

jaden101
Detroit
Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri
Wind River
Blade Runner 2049
The Girl with all the Gifts

Spiderman Homecoming is my pick but I'm biased lol

EDIT: Forgot about Logan. That may have objectively been the best super hero movie of the year.
