Prep would mean he at least starts with what the general population of Marvel Earth knows.

And Wolverine is the poster boy for the X-Men. He's on 25,000 Marvel teams, he's an Avenger, Uncanny, Xtreme, Xforce, you name it, he's on it.

And he's famous. Best at what he does and all that.

So Bane will know about his powers. He's nearly unkillable, feral rage, foot long claws, the works.

Why, WHY, would Bane, having been shown to be clever enough to bear Bats at his own game (and showing he doesn't always just go for direct face to face confrontations).....why would Bane just show up and hope to win in hth?

There's a thread that Carver made, about us (you and I and others) vs Wolverine with three hours prep or whatever. And we massacred Wolverine.
