Jonn usually does terrible in combat. He can be the most formidable person on the JLA but he sucks at using his abilities. So the answer is Superman. Hell, you can put Ikaris on the League and he would do better than MM.

JLA Trial By Fire showed Superman, even with help, would be hard pressed to survive a DC Martian's true original form.

The burning arc gets a lot of recognition for a story which was a giant retcon and has been forgotten ever since.
