I think that Nimrod's countermeasures or adaptations would become a commanding interface that would eventually take over the entire Phalanx. Ultron did it, and I believe that Nimrod is at least as powerful as Ultron, and if not it would at least be able to adapt and change faster than Ultron has been seen to. Ultron took over the Phalanx so...
