I don't know any of them, so can't really deliver an opinion. What does interest me is that they are going to cast a Hawk and Dove as recurring guest stars with the option to become regulars. I very much enjoyed the late 80s/early 90s series, with Dawn Granger replacing the original Dove.

I only know of Brenton Thwaites from the recent Pirates movie.

Excellent - Hawk and Dove have been cast.

"Alan Ritchson will play Hawk, a.k.a. Hank Hall, and Minka Kelly will play Dove, a.k.a. Dawn Granger."

Ritchson rocked it as Aquaman in Smallville, so it will be great to see what he can do as Hawk.

Yeah, that more or less sums up why I stopped watching the DC shows. But I try to stay optimistic and I really can't see Ritchson playing a very serious role. I know he's not past of the regular cast but I hope it's an indication that maybe this time they're willing to try something a little different.
