Attack a police officer and your going to get lead, tough shit thug. Try not acting like a savage if you don't want to get shot.

Still the cop shouldn't allow that emo kid to grab his belt so easily and maybe 7 shots a bit excessive, but I'm glad the officer was okay.

Anyone know the story of the emo kid? Was he disabled or just a punk who thinks its okay nowadays to resist a cop like every black criminal does?

TethAdamTheRock
How does getting shot in the body cause instant death like that

Bashar Teg
do we need a thread for every police shooting, or just the ones that support OP's confirmation bias?

I think Emp had the right idea, if this was a thread about an unarmed black man being shot by a cop, would you whine about it?

BackFire
This happened where I live, I have been to that 7/11 several times.

Kinda weird when something like this happens in your backyard.

He got shot seven times.

Flyattractor
Cop had good aim.

Rockydonovang
Fair enough on shooting in self defense, but why shoot 7 times?

That's what cops are drilled to do.

Honestly, I wonder why he didn't just shoot him in the knee or hand or whatever. Avoid lethal force and arrest him and all. Yeah, I know the dude assaulted the officer, but I feel lethal force could've been avoided here.

If somebody's attacking you, your instinct is going to be to shoot at their center of mass so you have the least chance of missing.

Emperordmb
It's the logical thing to do. If a cop is being physically assaulted by a dude who is grabbing his weapon, I'm not going to expect him to risk his life with a limb shot with a much higher probability of missing, I'd expect him to preserve his own life.
