Merged Zamasu (SSJ Rose + Zamasu)

vs

Jiran

Jiren wins. Goku adding red to his blue was able to damage Zamasu. Goku with a higher amp is going to be fodder to Jiren. Probably a holding back Jiren.

Zamasu is immortal. Even if Jiren could overpower him with a flick, he'd still die of old age before he could win.

How does he win, Zamasu is immortal and his power level keeps increasing. It took Zeno to kill him off.

He thinks base Goku > Superman, I wouldn't put much stock in anything Carver says.

Jiren is infinitely more powerful, but Zamasu probably wins via immortality.

In the SSB Gogeta vs Jiran people said SSB Gogeta wins.

Merged Zamasu isn't immortal. This was outright said during the show. When he merged with Goku Black, he lost his immortality which is the reason Trunks was able to kill his physical form. In regards to his transformation afterwards. If Jirens takes him out immediately without letting him cross the Universe, Jiren wins.

He was immortal hence why when trunks killed him, he didn't die. Zeno had to kill him.

And in the manga, his immortality is why Goku tried to erase him.

SSJ Vegeto also failed to kill him with his best attack, which proves his immortality.

Well Goku rarley kills outright and they ran out of time.

Because he's immortal.

Goku used to kill all the time in Dragon Ball.. Outright murdered Red Ribbon Army mooks, Agent Black, Piccolo. Now he doesn't so much, but Vegeta does, and he was a part of Vegeto too.

Either way, the Final Kamehameha didn't even slow Zamasu down.

Didn't Goku blow his harm off with a Kamehameha?

Merged Zamasu. Anime or Manga versions. Manga version was completely immortal, and each time he was blasted to bits, just spawned more Zamasu with the same exact level of power. Jiren might technically be stronger than the manga version, but run will run out of energy and the other will be just fine, and win through sheer numbers and unable to be killed. Without the lame drawback of Garlic Jr, and always getting tossed into the Dead Zone.

Anime Zamasu, was going toe to toe with Vegetto, Jiren isn't doing spirit sword, AND even if Jiren somehow did manage to 'kill' Zamasu, he then just takes over the whole universe and kills Jiren anyway

How was he defeated in the manga?

He wasn't.

So he lives on?

Zeno took care of him.

It's referred to as both, but given the Time Ring was destroyed after Zen-Oh erased Zamasu, I'm pretty sure Zen-Oh erased the whole shebang.

And yeah, obviously Zen-Oh could erase Jiren (and literally everybody present at the ToP) with a thought.

Well by timeline, I meant the multiverse at that specific time, as opposed to the entire past/present/future.
