Depends on the version of He-Man

Orion stomps

Orion wins period. Orion is a better fighter, tougher, stronger and willing to go for the kill. Event if the STR might be close which i disagree there's too many intangible that favor Orion. IMO He-man is roughly equivalent to MM in STR, were Orion is closer to CM.

You didn't read the last Masters run, did you.

Skeletor and evil Orko basically wtfroflstomped the entire DCU, and He-Man killed a perfect clone of Superman (Orko was easily skyfather level at the time, so no doubting his ability to do so.)

A "final form" version of He-Man in golden armor defeated a cosmically amped, universal level "Destroy a planet through space and time from my couch for kicks" Skeletor.

That Superman clone was designed to die.

The character was created by toy company Mattel after they declined to pay $750,000 for the rights to star wars figures before the movie franchise was a smash. Instead Kenner got it for the relative song. Mattel created He-man to complete and claw back some market share.

They paid for the production of the cartoon AND for DC to primt the comics. Part of the deal included the full internal cover ads that appeared onnthe interior high gloss full front and rear pages in almost every DC comic for a few years.

He-man wasnt written like most characters to fit within the DCU hierarchy he was written to deliberately sit above it.

He Man's creation was actually a fluke from what I've heard. Originally, Mattel was in the process of creating a line of figures for the Conan the Barbarian movie and about halfway through production someone from the company finally sat down and watched the movie at which point he was immediately like "Holy shit there's no way we can promote this movie with action figures for little kids!" So they hired a couple of writers to come up with a whole new concept based around the action figures they already had made, repainted them, and thus He Man was born.

This is true bit the reason they jumped in feet first to making Conan action figures was because they'd goofed so bad an missed the incredible oportunity of getting star wars.

Still as I said it was a situation where a toy maker was actually paying the comic and cartoon companies quite a bit to make the character as renown as possible so that they would recoup tjeir outlay on the already done prodiction as well the licensing fees for Conan not used.

This is literally the only reason why every time He-man appeared in a DC title he was the character to look up to, the power supreme. No character at that time woukd have gotten that sort of treatment without the financial gain to drive it. Dc literally mad sure everytime He-man and supes appeared together they were at least equals. Orion has never had that.

Metron in death of the new gods basically said Orion/superman were equals.

He-Man doesn't have the feats to stop Orion, especially DCnu Orion.

Skeletor was controlling Superman and not amping him. Superman beat down He Man even after that.

Base Orion can turn in to universal form while fighting is he doesn't back . He Man gets stomped
