Todd tried to kill Bats.

Professor x wins. Pretty much all of batmans students got killed at one time or another. One of two of batman's pupils are legit killers.

Meanwhile, Scott, for all of his horrid sh*t led an entire nation, has helped save the world more times than most of Bruce's pupils, and led several different teams of very well known x-men (several of which went on to become avengers).

Hank McCoy has been on several x-men and avengers teams, helped save the world numerous times, and has even worked on curing serious diseases.

That's just off the top of my head.

1) I'd say batman taught his charges best,

2) Xavier prepared them better,comes with the whole 'hated and feared' dilemma, plus his knack for downloading mission details directly into their brains

3) Xavier fell far more than batman did,the whole Vulcan fiasco,Scott fell due to the phoenix, Bobby due to apocalypse, beast became a piece of crap,Jean went dark phoenix too....etc

4) Scott had the most successful career overall, even when you include the phoenix dilemma

5) The 05 were together longer,and had tons of teams between them,plus their varied Powers make them better team players

6) Xavier is more relatively widely respected, with the institute and the Xmen formation
