He's not going to outspeed her lasso. Nor is she outspeeding him, but it just needs to fall on him to be under it's spell.

Full gear also gives her the bracelets which create the forcefield all around her. Which negates his own weapon.

Depends on the forcefield. Is Diana's ff really that impervious?
