Go!

Vanguard
Gorgon imo

Zack M
How so?

carver9
Gorgon takes his blind fold off and turns Warblade to stone.

WB can control his own molecules, so I doubt that will work.

I was going with the stone stare theory too. But I do recall Deathstroke beheading Warblade.

This is WS Warblade as shown in the pic. Warblade can't be killed by being beheaded.

Basically like the T 1000.

This fight would go on forever. Speed advantage to Gorgon, durability to Warblade. Uphill battle for Gorgon, but he is the most skilled of the two.

If the stone stare doesn't work like you say, then Warblade.

I was thinking of T 1000, too.

Stone stare kills him. Nothing proving it won't work.

Zack M
When has Gorgon stone stared someone who can break into millions of pieces and attack internally? Prove it.

carver9
Why would I need to prove a negative? Doesn't make sense. It's up to you to prove it wouldn't work.

Gorgon hasnt displayed that level of power before. Wolverine reflected the stone stare before, warblade can do the same.

cdtm
Warblade look famaliar..

Are those liquid metal like guy Majestic fought in his series related?

Thing is, is that Warblade doesn't need to see to fight. He can just break into millions of pieces and attack Gorgon internally, like he did before. Gorgon has no defense for that. Warblade is much more diverse when it comes to attacks.

Same race, but Warblade is a hybrid.

You keep going on about him breaking into a million pieces as if that is his thing. Can you post a scan of him beating someone creditable by doing that, please? That scan of him poring liquid metal down some chump's throat is definitely not how a fight with Gorgon would go.
I agree with Carver. I think the onus is on you to show that the stone stare wouldn't work, like it has so effectively for Gorgon so many times before. What have you got (apart from the 'breaks into a million pieces' argument)?

There are other tactics like turning into a huge sword for Maul and being completely melted, yet still reformed. Gorgon's opponents generally need to have eye contact, but Warblade doesnt really need to see to attack, as was shown when he formed from shards.

wuleecat
All good information. Thank you

Zack M
Sorry, I got the scene confused. Pike blew up Warblade and he reformed. After he reformed months later, he drew him out of hiding and made it rain metal shards. That would actually be a good tactic, since they are a certain length apart. Warblade could make it rain tiny blades and Gorgon wouldn't be able to stop that.

DarkSaint85
Depends how Gorgon's powers work and how willing he is to use it.

If it doesn't actually depend on sight, and can work on sentient beings....just by looking at the rain of Warblade shards,he could turn them all into stone - because they're all sentient.

Even if he would be able to do something like that, Gorgon wouldn't be able to stop ALL of them. Warblade can cut through anything (As he stated this to Captain Atom). Eventually, many will land.

With the rain tactic? Sure he will. Just look up lol. If my gaze could turn water into wine, I can just stand under a shower head and it will all turn into wine.....

But he can make it rain on the entire area. All sides. He won't be able to stop all of them by just looking up.

Zack M
BTW, Wolverine once used Gorgon's stare against him and turned him into stone. Warblade can just use the reflection on himself and turn Gorgon to stone.

This is the guy who could casually deflect multiple machine gun bullets from trained agents with a sword whilst having a conversation.....

He NEEDS to make eye contact though. He's not even immune to his own power, as we saw with Wolverine.

DarkSaint85
Hence my question about Warblade.

Is he blind when he turns into his rain? I would say not...he can still target things etc.

So he has some kind of senses, and if Gorgon's powers can affect that,he's stone.

Don't know. We've never seen Gorgon affect liquid metal before. I doubt Gorgon can look at all the rain drops. Elektra was able to look away and Wolverine was able to use his own power against him by his own reflection. No reason Warblade can't do the same.

Zack M
He doesn't have to be aware. If he comes down with rain or puddles, Gorgon WILL see his reflection. Practically his whole body is metal.

What if they both turn to stone ?

That would be a likely scenario. However, it depends if Gorgon can affect Warblade when he's tiny pieces. Warblade doesn't necessarily need to see to attack and gut Gorgon.

Cutting Majestic at all is a feat in itself... Cutting him *that* easily? Crazy.

cdtm
Does Gorgon have Grasscutter?

Mikaboshi, before becoming full blown Chaos King, casually killed Zeus and was essentially a black shadeshifting puddle, and the sword took him right out.

Why he'd ever give anyone the one thing that could stop him is as much a mystery as Shredder handing Leo that uber sword in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
