Whether it's Legends or canon Obi Wan and Yoda were the prime movers for getting untrained Luke to become the man who beat Vader. But from his own reflections and statements, which old Jedi had the greatest impact on Luke as a force user and as a mentor? Was it Obi Wan who watched him from his youth or Yoda who taught him the mystical aspects of the force and made him face his fears in the darkside cave?

Good question. I think of Yoda as a continuation of Kenobi only because he died.

Obi-Wan seems to have had a bigger impact despite Yoda teaching him far more.

Yoda. Ben awoke the Force in Luke but Yoda taught him how to harness it.

Plus ol Ben will ALWAYS lose teacher points for me because of how royally he fvcked up Lukes daddys training.

That was actually their biggest success. Putting right their failures in the PT.

Luke definitely had more of a connection to Ben, but Yoda taught him more in the skills department.
