Diana is convinced that Thor is the new avatar of Ares. Thor is convinced that Diana is Hela in disguise. They challenge each other to a duel to the death.
For this match, Thor is stripped of his lightning and weather manipulation powers. Wonder Woman is stripped of her super speed and flight (if she ever had it). Thor is armed with twin swords and Diana has her sword and shield. The weapons are enchanted so that they are unbreakable and the swords can cut through the combatants as easily as regular swords cut through regular humans.
No other equipment or weapons are granted the combatants. Thor is dressed in his armor as seen in Sakaar but without the helmet. Diana is dressed in her gold armor as seen in the beginning of her movie but without the bracelets.
Fight takes place in the Grandmaster's arena. An invisible dome surrounds the place so no bfr's can take place, though the combatants are allowed to super jump within the arena.
