Higgins on 'Magnum, P.I.,' Dies at 84
John Hillerman, the actor who made a career out of playing snooty types, including Tom Selleck's fastidious estate caretaker Jonathan Quayle Higgins III on Magnum, P.I., died Thursday. He was 84.

Hillerman, who received four Emmy nominations in consecutive years for portraying Higgins and won in 1987, died at his home in Houston, family spokeswoman Lori De Waal told the Associated Press. She said the cause of death had not been determined.

My second or third cousin is an alternate medicine cancer doctor with his own clinic in Acapulco, he treats cancer patients with stuff he worked out with another doctor that was in the room when they broke a type of cancer down, granted it doesn't work with everyone but with enough research he was 99% sure it could be done in 20 years... that was 27 years ago.

My great uncle was stationed at Nellis AFB from 43 to 59, he was on a supply run and their truck got retasked to haul some junk to Area 51, they wouldn't let the driver in the hanger but he got a quick look anyway and couldn't figure out anything he saw, he never told us what all that stuff was because they stressed that it was above top secret and him being a good soldier took that seriously.

Sure they could be fulla shite and just bragging to impress some dumb kids, but I have an instinct for when someone is slinging manure my way and this seemed legit. I could be wrong, hey if it makes you feel better don't believe me at all, that's easier.

Jessica Campbell -- the former actress best known for her role as Tammy Metzler in "Election" -- died suddenly and unexpectedly last month ... according to her family. Jessica passed away on December 29 in Portland, and though a full autopsy has been conducted by the Multnomah County Medical Examiner her family is still awaiting the results.

Her cousin, Sarah Wessling said the day she died, Jessica worked a normal day seeing patients at her practice -- she was a naturopathic physician -- and returned home to visit with her mother and aunt.
Sarah says Jessica went to the bathroom but never came out, and when her aunt went to check on her ... she found her collapsed on the floor. We're told the aunt tried to revive her but couldn't, and neither could EMTs when they arrived.

The family says Jessica had been complaining of congestion and felt like she was getting a cold, but they didn't think it was COVID.

The family says Jessica has been cremated and they are planning a memorial.

She appeared in the movie Street of Sinners (1957). She made her debut on Broadway in the play Fair Game in 1957. She also appeared in the production Drink to Me Only.

Leon Spinks, ex-heavyweight champ who upset Muhammad Ali, dies at 67

Leon Spinks, who surprised the boxing world by beating Muhammad Ali for the world heavyweight title in 1978, died Friday night at age 67, according to the Firm PR, a public relations firm that represents him.

Spinks, who had been suffering from prostate and other cancers for five years, died with his wife, Brenda Glur Spinks, by his side, the firm said.

The St. Louis native, a former Marine who won a gold medal as a light heavyweight at the 1976 Olympics, was just 13 months and eight fights into his pro boxing career when he stepped into a ring against Ali on Feb. 15, 1978, in Las Vegas.

Mary Wilson, Founding Member Of The Supremes, Dies At 76

Mary Wilson, one of the co-founders of The Supremes, died Monday at the age of 76, her publicist announced.

Wilson "passed away suddenly" at her Henderson, Nev., home, the singer's longtime friend and publicist Jay Schwartz said in a statement. No cause of death was given.

Wilson was a "trendsetter who broke down social, racial and gender barriers," Schwartz said in his statement.

Brayden Smith

The five-time Jeopardy! champion, who competed on some of late host Alex Trebek's final episodes, died at 24. "We are heartbroken to share that our dear Brayden Smith recently passed away unexpectedly," his mom, Debbie Smith, tweeted on February 12. "We are so grateful that Brayden was able to live out his dream on @jeopardy." The team behind the long-running game show shared a statement soon after, tweeting, "The JEOPARDY! family is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brayden Smith. He was kind, funny and absolutely brilliant. Our deepest condolences go out to Brayden's family. He will be missed."
