Defenders

Defenders, whether it's long and drawn out or quick.

Watchmen have no answer for Luke Cage just sitting there and tanking hits till he takes any of them down. That's not even counting on the threats that are Daredevil and Punisher, as well as a IF-wielding Danny. Throw in a grab and throw by JJ (who very well might get KO'ed early, but it won't matter), and that's a win for the Defenders crew.

The only chance the Watchmen side have, is if you gives them at least 10 minutes of preps.

Defenders win. Ozy is the only real threat on the Watchmen side, but he can't carry his team, especially when Team Defenders has a guy like Frank, who is generally armed to the teeth. And he isn't going to act like a noob gunman, like Silk Spectre did.

Luke Cage is a serious problem here. He should be taken out, otherwise this thread is spite.

Punisher is in it. So it's still spite. Last I checked no one in Watchmen is bulletproof, and Frank has lots of bullets.

Punisher can solo almost the entire team.

Yeah, adding a guy who just had a series where he has multiple feats mowing through groups of opponents (and in some cases, CIA Spec Ops guys and such, so not just random street thugs either) makes it hugely unbalanced. And whenever Frank specifically armed for combat, he usually had a bullet proof vest, some kind of automatic weapon/rifle/shotgun as a primary weapon, at least one backup sidearm, a knife, and in a few instances, things like a garrote.

And yeah, then Luke is in it as well. So, this really is very spite-y.

With prep time, Veidt kills all of them.

With prep time, Frank has left traps all over the place and isn't even there. He's a mile off with a 50. Cal sniper rifle. And Luke and JOnes have trucks and cars set up they can throw at people.

What technology was even readily available on a small scale that could hurt Luke and not kill everyone else in the room.

Not sure about a truck, but I could see Luke potentially chucking a small car at someone, especially after Defenders, considering he could lift and carry this without too much effort:

The disintegrater that Veidt used against Manhatten. With prep I'm going with Veidt and the Watchmen more often then not. Without prep, and as the threadstarter intends, Defenders crush Watchmen completely.

With prep Ozy would have destroyed them 35 minutes ago. Without it they have no way to even scratch one of the members of the Defenders.

So Nite Owl uses Archie's large machine guns to blast them all from the safety of high above. LC would be a problem, but Archie's missiles would at least KO him.
