Peter Jackson has used alot of native polynesian peoples (mostly Moari) in LOTR. I am very glad to see them. Unfortunately the not to many of the cousins (Australian Aborigines) appeared in LOTR. Not too many of them appeared in MATRIX and STAR WARS for that matter.

I think the Moari and other native peoples of the area are coming into their own. I might be wrong but I am very happy to see them.

don't new zealanders have something against austrailia? and vice versa?
