So, using Canon only, who is winning this?

The fight is lightsabers only, on flat terrain and no environmental factors involved. Both are focused and try-harding.

PS. let's refrain from troll comments and/or unnecessary comments about past issues/opinions.

I would lean towards Anakin personally, as per Gillard's statements on Anakin's lightsaber level relative to Windu.

****Unfortunately, I accidentally put this in the wrong thread. My bad. Continue on I guess!

Mace hard fight imo. I interpreted Anakin being a "broken" nine that an 8 can possibly defeat like Kenobi.

I don't interpret is as such. Look at it this way, the novelisation of ROTS states that Anakin lost against his former master because of his emotional state, not his fighting skills. Also, Gillard says something like: "Sure, Anakin skipped steps, but he's still a 9."

So, I don't believe Anakin isn't legitimately a 9, because I remember Gillard saying specifically that regardless of the shortcuts, "he's still a 9."

That's never been said in the novel, to my knowledge. No hindrance has been attributed to Anakin on Mustafar there.

And Nick Gillard said that despite his "emotional issues", he was still a 9.

I'm sure it is ....

Anyway, regardless, Anakin's defeat on Mustafar was circumstantial. In a clean one on one fight on even ground, Vader would have eventually penetrated Kenobi's defenses.

Anakin's slightly better in every category.

Quote it. Because there isn't that I remember.

He would have done so even in the Mustafar duel had he not jumped. Nobody is denying that he was superior to Kenobi there.

Don't have the book unfortunately. I'm not 100% sure it's in there.

Glad that you agree.

Vader being emotionally hampered during the Mustafar duel comes from Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, not the Revenge of the Sith novelization.

Anakin had still been between worlds then, and vulnerable.

Gilliard's wank means Anakin takes it

Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader
And from the ROTS Behind-the-Scenes DVD.

Mace. Anakin stalemated with Obi Wan who's inferior. Also lets not forget that even though Sidious took a dive in their duel Mace is still regarded as being able to compete with him so theres that.
