Under their own power, who has shown they can go above their tier the most between these two? Once that is answer, who shows the most improvement when they are going above their average portrayal (dynamic)?

Do you count DS? Just because he fights him like,all the time.

Thor, if by nothing else then by virtue of more appearances. But that begs the question, what are their average portrayal levels? Thor has a lot more appearances.

Thor not b/c Orion can't also do it. It's simply a numbers game, Thor willl show up on an average of 24 appearance between his comics, Avengers and gues stars in other comics. Orion is lucky to star in 3 comics a yr.

But in every one of those 3 comics, he'll be fighting DS or something.

Thor would have more showings, but that means Superior Venom would be KOing him etc....

Darkseid doesnt count so Thor wins by default

Orion with the Source ought to balance things out.

They'd probably fight all month. It's really difficult to say who is superior because of what was mentioned concerning appearances. The more often a character appears in a comic affects their win/lose percentage.
