Thinking that any female character in a position of power and with a strong, individual will is a secret feminazi/SJW take down of men is just mens insecurities being projected onto the character.

I'm pretty sure this has been said about literally every female character in the new movies so far and its pathetic.

Emperordmb
I was concerned they were gonna work in the word mansplaining when first seeing the movie.

1000% this. Well said Neph.

She's a feminist character within the context that she was created by feminists with the intent to personify feminists ideals on how women should on her position should be portrayed on fiction. I don't think she was offensive enough to be considered SJW tier, though.

Damn. This forum is brainwashed.

And every "fan" who dares to give TLJ a bad rating is a Trump supporter and racist, obviously.

No one said that, but it says a lot that that is your go-to reaction.

Obviously I am an SJW and a huge Hillary supporter, deal with it you racist, sexist pig.

The Merchant
If they really wanted an agenda they would have showcased her implied bisexuality that was portrayed in the books that established her.

UCanShootMyNova
Her and Leia get it on?

Dark-Kenshin
Don't know about that, but she sucked as a character either way. Just the tiniest amount of competence from her would've shaved an hour off the movie. The minute she was portrayed as being in the right the entire time, I couldn't help but puke inside. Glad she won't be back for another movie. Good riddance.

Why can't we get any sexually suggestive characters? Other than Kylo I mean.

On topic: No, she wasn't a feminist. I never got that vibe... I just got a "She's a strong, hard-headed character" vibe.
