If you own the Visual Dictionary for TLJ, you find out that Luke's pendant is infact an ancient lightsaber crystal fragment which belonged to 'the Jedi Crusader'.

Now this could refer to someone new other than Revan, but in all of Legends there was only one 'Crusader'.

Nephthys
As I recall they do keep bring Malachor back in the new canon.

AncientPower
There's a reference to the Mandalorian Wars too.

And Snoke might prove to be Valkorion.

So nice of them. They eviscerate the Expanded Universe; but give no credit to it, nor accept it as a loose based canon.

DarthAnt66
Nah, Snoke's nothing like Valkorion.

The Ellimist
To be clear even if they mention Revan's name, this doesn't canonize the literature on him any more than a certain alien's entrance in Rebels canonizes his book series.

DarthAnt66
They've canonized: Jedi Crusaders, Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, Mandalorian Wars, Malachor, and Rakata Prime.

They're just ****ing with us at this point.

Given the way they've been using other elements, I'm not having high hopes to them being good...well as long as they stay out of Rebels anyway, there's a chance in other mediums they could be good.

Revan may return someday.....

That necessarily might not be a good thing.

Pessimystic
Filoni will bring him back as a female force ghost and Revan will officially be even more butchered than Maul.

Yeah, he is. He is a Valk-Sids rip-off.

Selenial
