No Ikon.

Slade has been contracred to kill Creed.

Creed has been contracted to kill Sabertooth.

They start in their home cities, in a shared Marvel/DC universe. They get a weeks prep, and then the hunt is on, 24/7, day and night.

They're both allowed field prep as well (Once the hunt starts, they can regroup, get what they need, set up safe houses..)

Supermutant
Slade is definitely much better with prep.

DarkSaint85
Didnt Sabes prep every year for Wolvy though?

That's gotta be pretty good.

cdtm
Just notice I have both guys prepping against Sabertooth.

So Sabes took out a contract on his own life.

Could make an interesting teamup scenerio.

Vanguard
Deathstroke

Supermutant
Still Deathstroke kills Sabretooth before Sabertooth kills himself. Or after Sabes commit suicide, Deathstroke collects the body and then the bounty so either way he wins.

And how do you propose Slade kills Tooth...?

Supermutant
Same way Wolverine did but cleaner with godkiller

Wolverine never killed Sabretooth.

And since when Godkiller has the same properties as the Muramasa Blade?

It was a clone.

Does it disable regenerative abilities? Yes or no.

Flyattractor
So basically Sabes wins due ONLY to HF!?

I like how that can be used as a SKILL now.

A silly retcon after Wolvie had also killed him in hell by decapitating him again.
Slade can just do the same decapitate then blow up both body and head till nothing left.

Does it disable regenerative abilities? Yes or no.

Does it need too to kill Creed? Yes or no
Being extremely hard to kill as a lot of characters are does not make one unkillable.

No, not a retcon. Read the damn story.

Loeb planned it from the beginning, that is why it was emphasized that "Creed" had a different scent... the reveal in the sequel story was a surprise to nobody who read the original Evolution arc...

In this thread? Yes, it does <OP>.

Its not worth reading again, wasn't really worth reading the first time. Its pretty dumb for the soul of a clone to end up in hell and then get decap again. But no wait its not really Creed. sick

Plus isn't not even needed as decap works fine against Creed for Slade to win. And you need to read the godkiller arc if you think Sabes who has been put down by much less stands a chance against it.

X-23 ended up in hell, too. Clones do have souls. At least in the Marvel Universe, that is.

Blame editors and co-operation between the writers; all Jason Aaron knew was that Sabes was "officially" dead and eventually would somehow return, no details. So he wrote that hell story including Creed. Even though he got decapitated and sliced to pieces, technically that clone was still "alive" in hell, btw. Just dismembered.

It works fine when he's going for nothing more than KO.

And to land the first shot, he needs either the superior speed or one-sided prep... which he doesn't have.
