Which is more useful ?

Robtard
Really depends if you're a Mage or a Cleric, or one of the offshoots of each class.

To the martial based classes, I tended to prefer a higher Wisdom score over Intelligence, to help with Saving Throws. But you don't want low in either, if avoidable.

The guy with intelligence gets a P.H.D. and works at university.

The guy with wisdom is on the board of trustee's the P.H.D. guy answers to. wink

If you're smart, you get a job in some S.T.E.M. occupation. If you're wise, you made your fortune your way and you're bankrolling/investing in those occupations.

Emperordmb
I value moral wisdom more than the intellect personally. I don’t think age is a guarantee of moral wisdom though.

quanchi112
There's a reason the leaders for the Jedi, the Sith, and dark side force users are all known for their wisdom. Star Wars is most wise.

Being half retarded. Anakin was too old to train, full of anger and fear and they didn't want to train him, but because Obi Wan went "nah I'm gonna do it" they just went "okay".

They sense the darkside around palpatine. Mace doesn't trust Anakin. So obviously the thing to do is...ask him to spy on Palpatine, because reasons.

They find out where Grievous is, know he is the key to ending the war, and thus send...one jedi with some clones. Because...reasons.

They want to hide Vader's kids from the Emperor, lets put one on his home planet and give another to a senator who lives on Coruscant.

They want to hide Vader's kids from the Emperor, lets put one on his home planet and give another to a senator who lives on Coruscant. So because they allowed something to take place and were flexible this means they were retarded ? Seriously that's very weak reasoning.

Anakin did tell them he was the Sith Lord. Anakin was too emotional to resist the temptation of losing Sidious as he believed it was through him alone that existed the possibility of saving her.

The Jedi located him and took clones with him. They won so you're upset at them for not committing more Jedi when one was enough.

They were successful in hiding the kids and Luke eventually brought Vader back into the Jedi. Kenobi was keeping an eye on Luke by the way.

They went against all of their instincts merely because Obi Wan told them to f*ck off. And that is just one reason.

By the time Anakin told them anything it was too late. The very fact alarm bells didn't start ringing for Anakin when Palpatine started talking about ancient sith tales show how hilariously out of touch the Jedi were in thinking he should have been paired with Palpatine in any way.

And because the Jedi blatantly acted like they didn't trust him it made him not trust them. It was not just Padme that made him question the Jedi. They f*cked up badly.

I'm not upset, and because they ended up winning doesn't mean that it wasn't stupid to send ONE single jedi to take down Grievous. Not only because he was the key to ending the war, but because he is actually known for killing jedi.

The Jedi didn't win that because they are wise, they won because their opponents are just as retarded as they are. Grievous could have had the droids just shoot the shit out of Obi Wan and killed him. But no, he has to duel him for...reasons.

These people don't achieve victory , they merely stumble upon it.

They ended up getting lucky. It doesn't mean it was a wise choice to give one of the kids to a senator who lives on coruscant.

That doesn't make them retarded though. That's the point.

No, it wasn't. Windu had him dead to rights and would end it all with a swipe of his saber. Anakin intervened and that didn't happen but Windu had defeated him. Jedi fail a lot but they weren't retarded that's Trump.
As did Siduous for trusting Vader while toryting his son. No one is all knowing and both failed at different points of time. This doesn't make them retarded just overconfident. There's a huge difference.

If one Jedi was all that was needed to succeed why is it retarded ? They achieved their mission. Kenobi crushes him with a saber. Grievous tried to flee. Kenobi is better than he is so he was enough.

So now everyone is retarded save the guy who can't even support himself. Oh the irony.

You aren't smart enough to debate with tbh. So you say it's stupid but it end result bit them on the ass now it's lucky. Luke was being guarded by Kenobi you nitwit.

How is it not stupid?

No it makes them absolutely retarded to sense the darkside around Palpatine, to not trust Anakin, and then to order him to spy on Palpatine.

It was luck and stupidity that won the day though lol. It all worked out because it was meant to for the plot, but it does not make these decisions any less dumb. Please explain how sending only one jedi to kill Grievous makes any sense?

Can you explain how it isn't retarded to not just...shoot the shit out of Obi Wan? Why duel him?

And you make the strangest excuses for the jedis bad decisions.

It shows flexibility not retardation. By your logic Palpatine was retarded to trust Vader.

He relayed the truth of Sidious. So no they weren't stupid since he told them as soon as he became aware. Windu was suspicious of Anakin but he did the right thing there. Windu also told him not to come so his instincts were spot on.

No, the clones and Kenobi won handily. Kenobi was far too much for Grievous. You can use that excuse for anything. It didn't work out for the plot, etc.

Only one was required. He had an adequate amount of troops. Throwing a ton of Jedi at Dooku on geonosis didn't entire victory. What did was the clones in masses showing up.

They made many bad decisions but they weren't retarded. You didn't back your claim.

Why did they need to be told he was a sith lord when they felt the darkside surrounding him? Lol. What did they think was going on? They were stupid. They just sat back and went "oh well, democracy will prevail" like retards. It never occurred to them that when space magic is involved democracy may not be the best solution. They could sense literal evil in him, just remember that lol. Literal evil. They just went "meh politics".

If Grievous had said to all the Droids "shoot Kenobi all at once" what do you feel would have happened?

You got hung up on the word retarded. My point is these people are not wise, etc. They make dumb decisions all the time.

A smart man knows when his wife or boss are full of shit but a wise man knows when to shut his mouth about it.

It's advice that's always served me well.

Wisdom has more teeth

The Ellimist
Honestly though it's not socially acceptable to side with intelligence here so we're all just going to say wisdom to virtue signal (the actual answer is obviously "it depends on the context"wink.

There you go. You can't teach common sense.

Of the two, wisdom is obviously more malleable than intelligence, given that wisdom can come from accumulated life experiences while intelligence barring brain injury is almost entirely genetic. erm

He wasn't retarded he was overconfident. There's a huge difference between the two which is the entire point. Retards don't sominate a galaxy. Now in my shit talking I'll call Sidious a retard but at the end of the day he was quite smart just cowardly in the face of great danger. That's the one trait I never forgave the man.

Because they can't just assume with the position he held. You can't go just go off instinct you need good intel to act on this.

No, they didn't sit back as soon as they realized their instincts to spy on him were confirmed they went to bring him in. I expained the situation but you're doing your weird Surtur brain thing trying to grasp the situation.
They didn't but killing one Jedi wouldn't have guaranteed Griecous would have escaped anyways. The clones were more than enough to defeat the droids assembled there.

So you rescind your claim they were retarded. That's the point of contention but you just conceded. Wisdom doesn't always guarantee success.

Anakin flipping was what turned the tide for the Sith and in the end for the Jedi. My biggest gripe about Anakin was his weak emotional fragility he displayed on these two occasions.

Since I tend to go wizard in campaigns I always favor Intelligence for for bonus attack points.
