Yeah, he'd been fighting fires for days before hand. Wasn't a weakened Slade.

And what makes it even more ridiculous, is that they're both carrying guns. All of a sudden the #1 and #2 deadliest assassins in all of DC comicdom have forgotten how to fire their weapons with accuracy.

What I like most of all is the Floyd showed better skill in h2h combat by actually landing a hit. Slade sucks so hard he couldn't even hit Batman once.

Yeah, it was pretty high end, Even for him.

Deathstroke has dicked Batman hard already a few times. I expect more of the same in their upcoming mini together.

The last time Manta fought Aquaman, he did really well.

I've always wondered about that.

Manta is just a human,right?

I know I know,so is Batman....but really, have they ever explained BM? Does he actually do that well against AM?

He was doing well during the New 52 relaunch, when he was written by Johns.
He came off as very competent, no easy trick, given his Super Friends history.

It was even shown in that scan. He was OFF physically/mentally. He said being a millisecond off is the difference between victory or defeat. After he woke up with 2 eyes, he wasn't the same.

So, he's slower AND weaker with TWO eyes? Either way, he wasn't the SAME Slade. Even Slade is questioning himself after what I-Ching did to him.

And even then, Batman STILL didn't take him out. He was still standing, while Batman was all bloody and shit.

Oh, I'm sure Batman did plenty on Slade, but it didn't actually take him out. Either way, Slade was weakened and his thought process wasn't the same.

Some good stuff was posted since this morning though, its helped a lot in what i was hoping to get answered.

Someone said it a ways back, I think it was Phil, and he's right too: Manta is the one villain that gets under Aquaman's skin, so every time they fight, Arthur is always a little bit compromised. It gives Manta a chance he wouldn't have against anyone else.

Batman? It depends on his gadgets tbh, but the durability of Manta and his blasts will be a concern imo.

Yeah, no excuses there, but King is making Batman out to be in God mode.

The other feat is not a good one to use. Slade wasn't right in the head and physicality wise.
