When Valkorion first encounters the Outlander, the entire imperial starfleet as of RotJ suddenly drops out of hyperspace around Zakuul. Leading it is the Death Star II (no superlaser) commandeered by DE Sidious, with secondary command coming from Grand Admiral Thrawn in an Executor. Sidious and co. are aware of the abilities of Valkorion and Zakuul. EDIT: also Saxton's ICS calculations apply to the Imperial Starfleet.

Can Zakuul beat back the invasion fleet?

Bonus round: the starfleet receives the support of the LotF-era NJO in Stealth X's and the RotS era Jedi Order in Jedi Starfighters led by Anakin Skywalker.

Goodbye Zakuul.

Zakuul gets obliterated beyond belief. Their superiority to Republic and Sith Empire means nothing compared to insane hundreds of years of tech development. This is a slaughter.
