Did you miss the part when the realm of mortis, holding countless stars, started to collapse at the Fathers death.
Did you miss the part, where the son/daughter fighting would tear the fabric of the universe.
There is a reason why they removed themselves from the current universe.

Also, TCW severely downplays every possible Force power. Doing what they did in TCW is the equivalent of blowing up a galaxy in the EU.
