Anywhere from 3-5.

Jinn did about as well against Maul as Kas'im did against PoD Bane, maybe a bit better IIRC. It should be clear he stops there at the least, if not Kenobi.

I doubt he's going past 3.

His "mastery of every sequence and movement" of lightsaber combat sounds like those college students that memorize certain mathematical demonstrations because they lack the ingenuity to prove it by themselves.

Lmao, he redesigned/invented the sequences themselves and spent decades perfecting every aspect of them.

"To accomplish this, Kas'im made his students practice sequences, carefully choreographed series of multiple strikes and parries drawn from their chosen style. The sequences were designed by the Blademaster himself so that each maneuver flowed smoothly into the next, maximizing attack efficiency while minimizing defensive exposure."

"Within the first few passes Bane knew he couldn't win. Kas'im had trained his entire life for this moment. After years of study, he'd mastered all seven forms of the lightsaber. Then he'd honed his skill for decades, perfecting every move and sequence until he had become the perfect weapon and the greatest living swordsman in the galaxy. Maybe the greatest swordsman ever. Bane was no match for him."

Literally the opposite of what you said is true. He makes it to GG at least imo.

It's not like a high-level battlemaster like Bondara or Drallig couldn't have invented or modified their own moves. That being said, something like Kas'im vs. Bondara is pretty difficult to quantify.

LordOfTheLight
I genuinely don't see him making it past 3.

MythLord
Honestly, 3 can take him.

That's a pretty shit argument. The point is that they didn't do that. It's not like Kas'im couldn't have gotten owned by Maul or KF Anakin either (literally the only thing those two have done) but you don't see me touting that as a win for him. We can speculate over what they hypothetically could have done all we want but by what they actually did Kas'im is clearly more impressive.

Bondara's hype was from his own apprentice. In actuality he was outclassed by Qui-Gon. Drallig is even worse. Kas'im is different since he's described to have immense skill and talent and then actually proved it by inventing tens/hundreds of thousands of moves and sequences for every form and weapon type. It's described that he mastered every form and then spent decades perfecting every single aspect of every single one of them. Drallig merely taught lightsaber combat at the Temple, Kas'im reinvented it.
