If CM decided to hit Darwin like this, Darwin's mutation would have to either teleport him away like it did vs. the Hulk, or it would have to make him intangible or something. Mutation be damned, his sheer physical durability isn't going past Superman level that quickly- no matter what his mutation does. Even if it turns him into jelly, CM would atomize the jelly with his fist, lol.

Darwin has a few possibly ways to survive the punch by outright avoiding it- other than that, he dies.
