Unless Angela has received some massive powerup I'm unaware of, Cheetah wins. Easily too.

Zop. what makes you say this? Is it her brief run in with Gladiator? If it is, he's never been clocked so no case can actually be made against him. I mean a time dilation device was used to allow Thor and the FF the ability to hang with him, but no hard numbers to my knowledge were actually attached to Gladiator showing his top speed. He's fast asf is all Marvel has said. The only thing known is that he is an FTL speedster, with planetary level strength capacities.

Angela is deadly with her swords, and she has thousands of years practice in combat, meaning that Cheetah isn't facing off against Mockingbird, or Wonder Woman who holds back against her due to her knowledge of the curse that plagues Cheetah. I say the Cat gets skinned.

Cheetah, post crisis has the Zoom upgrade. DCnU, Cheetah, with just a scratch can turn Angea into a mindless beast. Her claws are magic based.

I've never seen Angela deal with any of that, but she is a God, and in being one may have resistances to it. She is immune to all terrestrial disease. It's effects may not be as severe as you're making it out to be, and Zoom has been hit.

If anyone were to use the Gladiator instance, plot may have played a huge part in how it was shaped. It happened in a Guardians of the Galaxy comic book. We all know how team books shrink all characters involved.

Besides if Angela cut her head off before she struck, that's just the way that it would go down. I side with pure skill and awesome speed over pure unbridled fury, and incomprehensible speed. DC went and turned Cheetah into the Tazmanian Devil. They'll never stop trying to top a power stunt lol.

Well no because they aren't the same character. No one is saying that it would not work, but it's the severity in question. I know that cutting Cheetah's head off would end it all though. Poison affects many different characters differently. The poison tactic is negligible and on unproven grounds. Besides, Angela as I mentioned may outclass Cheetah in skill and deadliness that all of that would be mute.

We can agree to disagree at any time though.

Shed have to catch Cheetah first. Not even Superman could catch her and Aquaman had to stop her in water. Cats hate water. Meow!

Is n52 cheetah current cheetah? also it was her bite not her claws that turned superman.

Yes, Barbara is the current one. Cheetah did down Wonder woman with one scratch of her claws .

They were going back and forth then Cheetah caught her on the throat. I think she blacked out from blood loss. Also Wondy was holding back.

Pretty sure she didn't black out from getting pummeled. It was a throat slash then she fades to black shortly after.

I agree about that, but Diana has endured worse and was still able to fight. Cheetah had some type of curse she gave people.

WW was the God of War. Didn't help her against Cheetah.

So I doubt Angela's status will protect her.

Btw, Angela gave up her title as Goddess of Death. She is however the daughter of Odin and Freya which is why she has such superior stats.

Angela is noticeably more skilled, with an edge in strength. That combined with flight, competitive reflexes and far more weapons gives her the advantage. I'm not sure if her bite can incapacitate (I'll re-read the JL but beating up the JL only takes you to a point. Mera and Orm are still scrubs for example. We gotta remember hand ninja syndrome.) but Angela can take her claws no problem from the recent comic I read. If the bite can take down Angela then it's 50/50 I guess, if not, Angela skins the cat.

Taking her from her introduction to now, Angela has a consistency problem to say the least. Has Marvel finally settled on a level for her?

I would have picked Spiderman over her at one point, then she's flying around dueling Jane at super speed, but also getting slapped by Gladiator and upstaged by Teen Jean.

Granted, Teen Jean has her share of wank what with punking Galactus and all.

This is actually a good matchup. Were-cheetah wins.
