QS in character is still winning this. He doesnt need to be CBRing.

Fight starts, NCer bamphs, QS starts moving. Unless NC gets really, really lucky, he's never going to be able to pinpoint a place to bamph to that will allow him a strike. He'd have maybe a 5-10% chance on the first strike. After that, basically no chance at all. Eventually he gets punched by a blur a handful of times and it's lights out.

QS 9.8/10

Quicksilver stomps, tbh.

Nightcrawler has definitely been caught/KO'd by enhanced reflex types, like Gambit or Wolverine.

Even with a forum mindset, the increase in response time won't close the gap against legit speedsters like Pietro.

Unless it's in a comic of course, then Pietro runs headfirst into Kurt's fist while talking smack.

hmm, you think? nc has some pretty great speed feats iirc. def some bullet speed feats (i thought....?) i was thinking it was in a city (should have specified) but that he could maybe port objects down on him from above and stay out of range for most of it, maybe slow qs down. had a funny though of him porting a sword in front of qs and him running into it or something.

meh, maybe it's not a good match up. thought between his speed and powers nc could get some wins. /shrug

hmm, not sure those 2 can be equated....

still doesn't address the idea of nc staying out of range and just dropping random sh!t on him. in a city qs would also have to find him and nc can hide in shadows pretty well... i'm stretching maybe, but it still doesn't feel like a totally lost cause for nc imo. /shrug

Plus someone who has fought NC many times like QS would know how he usually attacks. And QS is definitely fast enough to counter if Cyclops is. You're welcome PR.

qs and nc have actually fought somewhere? i know they've interacted a lot, but don't think i've seen them fight. where'd that happen?

Don't recall them fighting, either.

Maybe in UXM First Class? But it's not a showing I'd use, as Summers was clear on how the "All-New, All-Different" team suffered from the lack of training against speedsters.

QS should win in a forum fight or comic fight. NC has the better powerset though.

Like? A bloodthirsty and creative NC can do horrible things with his TP power (never mind the whole wall crawling and meld into shadows thing he does).

Dropped objects wouldn't have much more chance, and there's still the issue of knowing where to port to with QS moving around so quickly. Especially with the recent scans posted, I think Kurt is boned no matter how you slice it.

My take is that, yes, it's a lopsided matchup, but not obviously so until you tease out how it would actually go down. There's a phrase in science about some hypotheses being only a hypothesis, but being "worth disproving." I feel like this was a hypothesis worth disproving, so to speak.

You're assuming a "hoped for" outcome, though. Pretty sure leo was just curious. This isn't a Superman/Hulk/Thor bait thread.
