No Non-canon Sources

Non-canon sources are invalid for evidence. With rare exceptions, comics not in continuity such as Elseworlds, What Ifs, or alternate universes are not used for evidence in debates of a particular mainstream character.

i will explain my point. look at this fight and storyline. what do you see? we see juggernaut. it was even stated that he fought the xmen and basically they are depicting regular juggernauts history. he has the powers of the juggernaut we know because he is the juggernaut we know. however, its a different storyline, the "adventures" storyline. but what does it really means? what does an alternative storyline truelly means? well to me, that means a very simple thing. it basically says, lets take character X, and put it under a different storyline thats all. but its still the same character with same powers and same everything. its just a different storyline thats all. its the same character under different events. so should we dismiss fighting feats from a different storyline? well, unless it altered the character itself, the answer should be no. because its the same character with same powers. if champion from adventures beats juggernaut from adventures, it doesnt mean that its not canon. it means that under a different storyline where they fought, thats what would happen.

yes, i know forum rules and all, yes i know, dont bother sending me the link i know i know. i am talking about what logically should be.

Dareangel
thanks man, that was always my opinion and the reason i consider different storylines as canon in my book. that of course, unless its a universe where the character is altered and is different.

Honestly Juggernaut should win. Too bad Champion has been written down so drastically since his initial appearance. THIS Champion would be a good match for Juggernaut :

That Champion would tear Juggernaut in half if you judge him purely by those scans.

Champion is back up to Thornir/Hulk level in pure strength/durability though as of his last appearance.

Scans? Or if you don't have the time, what issue was that showing in?

One Big Mob
Thor vs Hulk #6 Champions of the Universe. Worth it to check out the whole series to see how much of a plot device the weapon the Promoter had.

Also someone won the 4 way battle at the end. Judging by the faces it wasn't Thor or Hulk. Probably Promoter or maybe the small chance Champ did since we didn't see him... maybe

Galan007
I remember Champ soaking a strike from Mjolnir in that issue, but I thought he and Thor were treated a near-equals in h2h(with Thor maybe looking a little better)..?

Thor took a direct hit from Champion and didn't budge. Champion took a direct hit from a charged Mjolnir and didn't budge.

breaking them by talking about them? wtf? the idea that its bad to talk about a specific rule and question its logic, contradicts free idea market and leads to frozen state. thats exactly why the middle ages were so f^cked up and why democracy proved itself as the right way for advanced civilization.
