Kurk
I'm not very familiar with many of the KotoR/pre-banite/pre-Yoda dark-siders, so I'd like to scope out their relative placements.

Assume prime versions. All out combatant abilities.

Haazen
Darth Sion
Skere Kaan
Meetra Surik
Tulak Horde
Freedon Nadd
Exar Kun
Darth Traya
Darth Malak

Control characters:
Cin Drallig
Darth Zannah
Darth Tyranus
Obi Wan

DarthAnt66
Malak's on top.

1. Malak <- confirmed >> Kun or Nadd
2. Kun <- best of the ancients prob
3. Nadd <- really f'ing powerful
4. Meetra <- defeated Traya
5. Traya <- ragdolled Sion
6. Sion <- rip

Unknowns:
- Hord: probably around Nadd or above Nadd, but below Kun
- Kaan: like Bastila... great TP, kinda mediocre at all else
- Haazen: with all his trinkets?

Kurk
Haazen with all his artifacts

DarthAnt66
Above Kreia tbh

If the hype is too be believed then Tulak is number 1.

Despite his strength, the Dark Lord was no expert in the rare art of battle meditation. It was one of many talents, and he had worked to develop them all equally.

Path of Destruction

Kaan's a jack-of-all-trades, not a TP specialist. His telepathy is a reflection of his Force abilities across the board, and given his feats in that area make Vitiate, much less Malak, look like ass, he's undoubtedly at the top.

Also, what's the basis for unamped Malak > Kun?

LMFAO. laughing out loud

Lord Kaan knew he was no match for Bane, either physically or through the power of the Force. Yet he wasn't about to surrender so easily. Not while he still had cunning, guile, and his unique talents of persuasion on his side.

his unique talents of persuasion

If Kaan thinks Bane will stomp him in a Force battle but notes specifically his TP abilities stand a chance, that pretty clearly distinguishes Kaan's TP from everything else. That's so terribly obvious just reading PoD that only you of all people would think otherwise. The fact Kaan developed all his techniques equally doesn't change the fact he's inherently uber gifted with telepathic persuasion. Corran can develop all his other techniques for years - he's still going to be a tutaminis god. Although, I'll make a correction: he's not like Bastila in the sense her TP abilities are BM-specific, whereas Kaan's are not.

I took it as SF Malak.

Azronger
Hmm, good catch. Still #1 at the list, though.

Why would you assume a circumstantial amp when discussing the character in general?

DarthAnt66
Kaan might be last on the list, lol.

Because it says prime versions and it's possible a large majority of the amp was permanent.

Azronger
So a guy who can TP the largest Sith faction in history is beneath Sion? Right. Kaan would prolly mindrape Vitiate. And Revan too tbh.

Source for the amp being permanent?

DarthAnt66
Couldn't do shit to rookie Bane, who feared most of Revan's rituals, lol.

Heavily suggested by the Rakata. Revan has to kill Malak before he becomes too powerful - a situation that doesn't make sense if Revan can just wait for Malak to leave the Star Forge.

XSUPREMEXSKILLZ
Kaan is last on the list, yeah.

Kurk
I made this thread really to get a gauge for Haazen. I just threw in the others too.

Who's the most powerful force wielder Haazen could defeat with all his amps, trinkets, artifacts, etc?

DarthAnt66
No one knows.

1. Due to them being rituals, they're not indicators of one's power in combat. So irrelevant.
2. Quote for "most"? I recall it being "some."
3. Revan's thoughts on said rituals are never expounded upon as far as I know, and I never see him shitting out thought bombs or anything. So I wonder why we should automatically assume he thought all of them were safe.
4. (this ties into 3.) All you've done is take Bane's thoughts on a matter as indicators that he's weak, but without anyone else's thoughts on the same matter to compare them to, it's entirely unknown whether it makes him look bad or not.

As it stands Kaan has a better TP feat than Vitiate, and if we wanna do the lowballing game (you started, don't blame this on me), then Failkorion was knocked on his ass and had his "armor" "pierced" by Dramath. Dramath lost to a 10 year-old Tenebrae. That Tenebrae is inferior to Ludo Kressh, who got downed by a brick. So Failkorion was wounded by a guy who is inferior to a flying brick. I'm pretty sure Kaan can throw a brick, so he wins.

Full quote please. Also reasons for why we should trust the Rakata, who haven't been in touch with their tech for millennia, and who aren't even Force sensitive at this point, when we can't apparently trust a Brotherhood member who's telepathically in contact with Kaan to accurately piece together what he's doing?

Freedon Nadd
Haazen - 8
Darth Sion - 9
Skere Kaan - 6
Meetra Surik - 5
Tulak Hord - 3
Freedon Nadd - 2
Exar Kun - 1
Darth Traya - 4
Darth Malak - 7
