Q is naturally nigh-omnipotent and has complete mastery of his power. Thanos has to willfully utilize the gauntlet to use its powers.

In that aspect then i believe Q wins.

The Gauntlet isn't Omnipotent. At least not the MCU version.

After Thanos utilized the Gauntlet to erase half the universe it was clearly seen that the Gauntlet was damaged.

Either:

1. The Gauntlet isn't strong enough to output such energies.

2. The Infinity Stones aren't omnipotent and are actually limited.

Correction...

The Gauntlet (which is used to channel the Gems energies) was damaged...

The Gems themselves were fine...

Anyway, I think Thanos wins...

I cant recall Q doing anything on par with killing off half the universe with a snap of his fingers...
