Death spores AND those life draining nearly indestructible coils. This is a bad match for Namor. His only hope is if they start far enough apart that the death spores haven't done their damage yet and he kamikazee dive attacks Omega Red, pulping him. That's a big "IF" but it's Namor's only hope.

Did Namor fight Gargan Venom? I can't remember but Gargan Venom beat up Wonder Man I recall.

Omega Red >>> Gargan Venom. If I'm remembering correctly those death spores have affected Colossus in metal form and got to Wolverine despite his haxx healing factor. Namor will be affected.

Yeah they both fought Gargan Venom (although Namor was much more impressive vs Gargan Venom than WM). Gargan Venom never beat up Wonder Man. It was more of a back and forth fight going on in the background.

Gargan Venom was all over the place.

The second fight was inconclusive. They tussle for a few panels then we don't see them again till the fights over. The Dark Avengers were outnumbered like 5 to 1.

Yup. I posted the fight in my message just above yours. Bran, do you have the Venom/Wonder Man fight scans? Or do you know what issue it took place in? I want to post them if I find them.

And broken jaw or not Venom's speech was halted when Colossus ripped his jaws apart.

Heck if Colossus hit him with his fist rather then a piece of concrete he would have smashed him worse, or if he chose to kick him in the head while he was down it would have been a bad day for Venom.

It's one of the primary weaknesses for the Venom suit, but it was effecting Colossus more because his costume was getting wrecked from fighting the guy who was getting blasted with fire?
Match should know better than to use fire around Colossus the ice cube.

His speech was "halted" in the one panel because Colossus was holding his jaw open and he was wrapping his neck with his tongue. And he was speaking anyway. They just cut out him saying the b word.

IIRC he held up Utopia while Colossus was setting up pylons. Tore through Nimrods in comparison to Colossus etc.

He also fought Blastaar and shrugged off Cyclops while in the NZ and extremely weakened. Also fought Ikaris evenly during that era. Beat She-Hulk around with Cages corpse. His one low showing and it made no sense was Thing trapping him underwater with a fish's tooth.

Anyone have scans of Namor getting slapped around on the beach where Colossus stepped into show Namor how it's done?

He wasn't oneshotted and the nimrod drained moisture from his body and weakened Namor.

Yes weaknesses are often exploited during battle but Namor was also wearing his suit designed to prevent that.

His X-Men suit looks different than the one designed by Richards...

But how does it matter? Colossus can't replicate what Nimrod did... but Namor is perfectly capable of replicating Nimrod's feat...

It don't matter how you sugar coat it, Namor was taken down by a single Nimrod, cry and wine all you want but it is what it is. 5 took down Colossus.

The Nimrods could have taken Namor out like they did Colossus but they only needed one to take him down....with method that would tickle Colossus.
