Haven't read the article, but I assume this is either to do with skin/hair ecology or the immune system, clearly over washing would effect both.

Over-doing it is bad, yep. I only shower with cold water to avoid drying out the skin.

i try to detach myself from other poles, so i shower everyday

I love showering.

After a surgery I wasn't allowed to get near water for like 2 weeks. So they gave me this weird body wash stuff.

Next they will tell us how wonderful it is to live 20 people to a single room and all sharing the same bucket to poop in.
