That determines who wins. Use proof. Ippo by miles. Akira Toriyama's failings on Vegeta can be attributed to sheer laziness, but Mori's failings on Ippo are almost methodical. I have never seen an author build up his title character for 1000+ chapters, only to flush him down the toilet afterwards for 200+ chapters in a row of humiliation. Chapter 1227 is the probably worst as Ippo gets humiliated by ordinary street thugs.
