In his last appearance, he was tapping into the Dreamstone to take down the Justice League Dark.

Actually, he had a cameo in Justice League: No Justice. Amanda Waller kidnapped the most powerful telepaths to hack Brainiac. Destiny was one of the members.

Back in the 1990's, there was this JLI story where Dr. Destiny created an entire alternate universe. Evil Martian Manhunter broke Sinestro's arm, and just kicked his arse (He also claimed he was more powerful then Superman.)

Of course, the only character not evil was Batman. But that's why Metal happened, because you never see an evil Batman.
