Well, unamped Malak is pretty shit, so this all depends on how you view the gap between a fodder and an Exar Kun+ in comparison to the one between Failkorion and Sheev. I'd personally say the former is smaller.

Yet Dooku is terrified of Sidious while thinking he can take AotC Yoda. He then does arguably worse against Yoda in Dark Rendevous despite having grown stronger *and* being on a powerful dark side nexus. Clearly Yoda wasn't fighting all-out, or otherwise hadn't gotten back up to form as he had by RotS.

Not that this matters because 1) Yoda never tries to attack Dooku with the Force but instead engages him in lightsaber combat and 2) you haven't established how Valkorion would do against Dooku.



Just as strong of a line of scaling can be used to establish that Karness Murr is trash compared to Sidious. There's also no reason to think that Vader, even if he were correct about Karness's power, thought this involved literally tag-teaming Palpatine in a 2-1 fight.
