The problem with Luthor is that he treats Joker like a bad dog that he thinks he can properly potty train. Joker will perpetually sh_t on the carpet because you guys eat that like candy.

Ultimately it's Luthor's battle to lose because he's too cocky and he let Joker into his house.

Well, this is a Man Who Laughs thread, and it's not the first time Luthor was bested by Joker. Man who laughs took over a world, and killed all its heroes, including Spectre. Luthor has yet to do something like that.

Luthor didn't really force Death to do anything.

Iirc, she said she could continue, and that the vacation was just for fun. Either way, Man who laughs is currently superior to Luthor. Joker even hinted as much, and one the reasons why Luthor needed to imprison him. I'm guessing that Batman will screw Luthor over once the storyline continues.

It wasn't his aura, but of the Phantom Child. If both get prep, I think Luthor would lose. Batman is too crafty.

My point is that Luthor ultimately has no power over Death. It's been revealed that Death will be the last being standing in the DC Multiverse.
