Not yet. Literally just got it out of the mail about 20 min ago. Already had the Nes Classic. It works pretty good but I had to fiddle with the TV settings to get the sound to work right. Hoping won't have the same prob with the Supes.

What games you have for NES?

As in for the OG Nes on Cartridge? Oh good lord. A couple of dozen. I aint hacked the Classics or nothing. Not yet anyway...

You have Clash at Demonhead?

Nah. I just got good pile of the games that pretty much every one had back in the day. Same for the Super Nes. Only real standout for that is the Biker Mice From Mars TV tie in Racing Game. Which is actually pretty good.

Well, Clash is an amazing platformer.

Lumenon HID Xenon headlights. Size: H11 Color: 5000K "Pure White"

Not installed them yet, but if they work the same as the last pair, these are a really nice upgrade to the halogen headlights the car came with, night driving in close to complete darkness is vastly improved in both light range and intensity. They are virtually "white" as advertised, with almost no blue tint (I hate blue headlights). The one drawback is they only last about 18months before they start to shift in the color spectrum, turn darker and eventually go out. But for $8.99 a pair, that's fine with me. Next pair I'll likely try these in the 4300K range, which will add a very slight yellow tint, or what most halogen or OEM headlights look like.

Important: You shouldn't use these in a halogen headlight assembly (reflector style) as the light will refract incorrectly and blind oncoming traffic, which I've seen more than a few douchebags do. These should only be used in projector style headlamps. You'll also need to buy a 35w or 55watt ballasts to go with these, those are also fairly cheap these days, mine cost under $20.00 and I've had them running for 3 years now. Installation is usually plug-n-play for most ballasts sets. Mine needed minor wire cutting, crimping and connecting.

It's a very cheap unit as in my experience cheap computer mice generally work as well as the fancy more expensive ones and why spend $25.00+ when $6.00 will meet my needs.

Only once was I disappointed by a cheap mouse, thing was flimsy right out of the box, wheel didn't work right, buttons felt crunchy and the optical unit would periodically skip. So I literally crushed it to splinters in my hand after about 20mins of use due to abject disgust, installed my spare HP wired unit.

For black friday I bought a bunch of movies that were on sale to give my dad for Christmas, Step Brothers, Argo, Skyscraper, Equalizer 2, Warrior, and some others. Last night for myself I bought a couple of ebooks that I've been wanting to read - The Three Body Problem and American Gods, both on sale for $3.

I'm also considering building a new computer because my current one has been having some problems. One of the ram slots in the main lane died so I'm forced to use two other slots which means I'm forgoing on some speed currently, also my computer is pretty old now, built this one about 6 years ago.

Dunno if I want to build a new one now or hold off until next year when AMD will release their next gen of hardware, which sounds as if it will be really good. Also want to get a new monitor, may get that soon.

Have you ever looked into Plex? It's a fantastic free service that you may find useful.

Plex is indeed awesome. Just requested the tv show "Eureka" the other day. By this morning there are already 45 episodes of it available.

How do you request a show? I just use it to stream things I download myself. Is that a part of the premium membership or just some functionality I'm not aware of? It sounds very useful.

I was going to look into the sharing feature for my Plex Library for my BFF, but instead I just gave him my entire library and set up a Plex server on his computer/his house. Whatever new I download, I also save to an external drive and update his library every 1-2 weeks. He lives very close.

The nice aspect here, if my harddrive ever takes a dump and I lose everything, I can restore it off of his.

Yeah it's cool, we're lucky cuz my one friend has his own server lol. So there is a MASSIVE amount of stuff. Hundreds of movies and tv shows and he also puts up sports too(though I don't watch sports).

We(meaning me and the others he shares it with) chip in some money to him every now and then over it. It's worth it cuz unlike netflix if it doesn't have something you can request it and have it that day.

I need something to run it on that is not my computer (I would rather watch things on my TV). Hence, why I am looking for a new internet-connected blu ray player. A blu ray player is much less expensive to replace than a smart TV, and I can further justify the cost if I get one that is region-free, because then I can collect some box sets that only have region 2 releases.

You can use Plex to watch things on your television, I use it as a media server so I can stream things from my computer to my other televisions, or even my gf's television.

The monitor I posted above is great. Going from 60hz to 144hz is pretty noticeable, everything just moves so smoothly now, even on the desktop and when browsing the internet, you notice the difference, and in competitive FPS games like CS:GO or Overwatch, it does make a difference.

Can't say anything regarding going beyond 144hz since I've not tried anything beyond that. I've heard that going from 144hz to 240hz is less noticeable than going from 60hz to 144, though.
