Enjoy the nice stories about George H for the next week or two.

Eternal Idol
Ronald Reagan was the first president in my lifetime, but my earliest memories of the President of the United States were of George H.W. Bush. For me, he set the template for what it means to be presidential, and I remember having respect and even admiration for him. Now that I'm an adult with my own political views, I can look back and see where I disagreed with his policies. Though he is responsible for some horrible things or at least had a hand in them, I believe he was a good man at heart who did what he believed was best for the country and for the international community.
