pre coie 80's supes would be fairer. most of the 70's (up to 78) was Silver age era. After 78 Ssupes was notably weaker with fewer showings of random plot powers to suit the issue (i.e powers that he seemed to just develop as needed to deal with different threats)

The Universe Explodes as time travel shenanigans and extradimensional warps abound. Thor used his esoteric powers then and Supes rode the rainbow of time like an escalator hopping on and off as he desired, Thor shrunk people, opened mauls into space, travelled to and from Limbo, Supes pulled powers out of his arse weekly. But, probably on balance Supes would win 7 out of 10. Both were more interesting then.

Have to agree that Thor probably wins this because PC Supes who was perhaps the most powerful incarnation of Superman was also the most susceptible to magical attacks, however if this was strictly a physical pure mixed brawl............Kal-el wins hands down no problem, PC supes just far too strong.

Yes. Everytime I look at your avy, I am only reminded of pain; pain of the realization that Hugh Jackman is 11 inches too tall to play a convincing Wolverine.

That I can understand, I wish Hollywood was truer to the characters appearances, costumes and historical backgrounds, for example their Captain America is hardly recognizable in the last avenger movie by his appearance.
